Boys and Girls Soccer

This is a six-weeks coed instructional program for 4-11 years old. It begins teaching the fundamental skills of soccer and guides children to the importance of sportsmanship, teamwork, and encourages equal participation in a recreational environment. Practices and games takes place on a Thursday and held at Phoenix Christian Elementary School turf. 

3 practices and 3 games. Practice sessions are 1 hour long, and games are 1 hour long. 

Participants bring own equipment.

Program provides a team shirt.

Cost: $40 for the season

Soccer Divisions

4 to 6-years old Division 

Under 3 divisions learn the concept of kicking the ball, passing the ball, and goal kicks. In a recreational environment.

Practices

U5 practices are 45 minutes long per team and occur 3 times per season. Thursdays

2:00 p.m. to 2:45p.m.

Games

U3 games are 45 minutes long per team and occur 3 times per season. Thursdays

2:00 p.m. to 2:45p.m.

7 to 9-years old Division 

Under 9 divisions learn the basic concept of kicking the ball toward the opponent's area, ball handling, passing the ball, and goal kicks. In a recreational environment.

Practices

U9 practices are 1 hour long per team and occur 3 times per season. Thursday

3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Games

U9 games are 1 hour long per team and occur 3 times per season. Thursdays

3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

10 and 11-years old Division

Under 11 divisions learn to sharpen ball handling skills, passing, and goal kicks. In a recreational environment.

4:15 p.m. to 5:15 p.m.

U11 games are 1 hour long per team and occur 3 times per season. Thursdays
